This is a key role in the busy Installations Department at County Windows. The position is based at our Head Office at Bournemouth Airport and is predominantly an office based role, however there will be a requirement to visit customers to inspect, document and submit planning applications online to the council so knowledge of planning would be preferably and ideally the role may suit someone who currently works within the planning dept of a local council.
The main role is to ensure a smooth installation process for our Windows, Doors, Porch, Conservatory and Cladding sales, as well as other products. You will be booking in the installations directly with customers for our Installation Teams and where necessary also booking appointments for yourself to attend in respect of planning submissions and our Site Managers or Service Engineers.
It will be your responsibility, along with your colleagues in your team to ensure that all contracts, once commenced, progress smoothly. It will involve the scheduling of any combination of our tradesman, being Builders, Fitters, Site Managers, Plasterers, Plumbers, Electricians etc. This role will involve liaising with both internal and external staff within the Installations, Accounts and Sales Department, as well as our Suppliers where appropriate. There will obviously be queries that may arise from this and you will be required to resolve these issues in a timely and accurate manner either independently or with the co-operation of your co-workers or subcontractors as necessary. You will therefore need to possess the confidence to openly query, investigate and most importantly resolve any anomalies/problems that arise during installations. In all instances time is of the essence so it is a requirement to ensure that the time it takes to complete an installation is kept to an absolute minimum and the customer is kept informed at all relevant stages.
The candidate must have a pleasant telephone manner, strong communication and analytical skills for monitoring and highlighting potential issues with all suppliers, sub-contractors or surveyors. Knowledge or experience of the industry is not essential, as more important is your organisational skills.
Whilst in the office, answering of the phone to customer enquiries and dealing with the received query is of paramount importance.

The candidate will be required to cover (when necessary) for periods of absence for fellow office colleagues during sickness and holidays and may be asked to carry out other ad-hoc duties.
Salary Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£16k+ (Dependant upon experience and may rise on successful completion of probationary period).
